The Southampton Hospital Foundation is an essential partner in Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s mission to ensure access and delivery of high-quality medical services, programs, and facilities to the South Fork community. Our work is focused on increasing essential philanthropic support to advance and strengthen this mission for our East End neighbors and visitors.

The Foundation raises funds through a broad spectrum of fundraising activities, including special events, grants, direct mail, capital campaigns, planned gifts, major gift solicitations and social networking. The Foundation also collaborates with local and regional organizations to raise funds to advance the hospital’s mission.

Supporting Key Initiatives

The Foundation’s fundraising supports key initiatives of the hospital’s strategic plan, including: The Paulson Family Emergency Department, the Audrey and Martin Gruss Heart & Stroke Center, the Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute, the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center, the Kathleen D. Allen Maternity Center, the Edie Windsor Healthcare Center, the Regional Tick-Borne Disease Resource Center, The Phillips Family Cancer Center, the new Stony Brook Medicine East Hampton Off-Campus Emergency Department, and the Capital Campaign to build a new Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.

With 124 beds, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is staffed by more than 280 physicians, dentists, and allied health professionals representing 48 medical specialties. The hospital offers a diverse array of clinical services, ranging from primary medical care to specialized surgical procedures, including cardiac catheterization, orthopedics, and bariatrics. The sole provider of emergency care on Long Island’s South Fork, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is a designated Level III Adult Trauma Center and primary stroke center.
